Amazing - he went above and beyond
Carlos was scheduled to perform for 60-80 mins, to begin the show he had 2 opening acts that were both hysterical and also close personal friends. There was not a dull moment during the entire show. Carlos' humor was spot on and quick witted, about 75 mins in Carlos asked the crowd if they were still with them and agreed to stay on stage if we were ok with it, 2 hours + and he invited his 2 opening acts onstage and the 3 of them were onstage for another hour giving us 3 hours of nonstop amazing performance by Carlos and his friends. This was one of the best comedy shows I have ever been too, Carlos is phenomenal to his fans and deserves praise in return.
Carlos is Hilarious as ever
I have been to lots of Carlos Mencia’s shows over the years. He is still as funny as ever. He never disappoints! His material is hilarious! I will continue to follow his career and go to his shows whenever I possibly can. I took some friends (who were unfamiliar with him) to see his performance in Laughlin. They had tears coming from their eyes from laughing so much and my girlfriend did as well. And I have taken her to see his show before. The only thing that I wasn’t thrilled about were the seats and seating arrangements at the venue at the Tropicana in Laughlin. I would have given a 5 star rating if it weren’t for that. Other than that the show was great! I highly recommend his show!
So Much Funnier Than Other Comedians
Carlos Mencia has never failed to keep me laughing throughout his show. We saw Felipe Esparza last Friday. Now I had seen Esparza 4 times in the past (pre-COVID). He was really funny then. I don’t know what has happened to him but, he was funny but not as funny as he was in the past. Two of the three opening acts he had were much funnier.
As for Mencia, I had seen him twice before COVID. He didn’t disappoint us either time. One more thing about Mencia, he only has one opening act; not three. When I buy tickets, I buy tickets to see the main performer, not 3 unknowns. Mencia, basically did 3/4 of the whole show himself, and he had so much energy.
I will never waste money on Paul Lopez, Paul Rodriguez, to name just a couple. ,
